- Compressed Air Foam SystemsCAFS – Firefighting equipment TRHC supplies a wide range of innovative fire-fighting equipment to the Australian industries that need fire-fighting support. There are hundreds of specialized MEA CAF systems throughout Australia and internationally. TRHC has focused on research and development of vehicle-integrated Compressed Air Foam Systems. When developing any new CAF systems to suit the application’s specific needs. The most important aspect is the collaboration between the fleet builders, senior fire agency representatives, and CAF system developers. Enhance your fleet with CAFS Speak with the TRHC team about Compressed Air Foam engineering for the best possible advice in enhancing your firefighting capabilities.
- CafaidThe MEA Compressed Air Foam Air Injection Device (CAFAID) has been developed to provide a supreme Compressed Air Foam (CAF) capability for fire and land management agencies using their traditional pump sets and fire fighting appliance configurations. Traditional off-the-shelf CAF systems are generally purpose-built and tailored to each application with CAF being the main consideration in these designs, pump performance specifically volume and pressure have limitations of use outside CAF. The MEA CAFAID allows the agency to very easily enhance their established configurations (existing vehicles) with CAF by simply fitting the MEA CAFAID to nominated deliveries where CAF is required and plumbing air to the device at a predetermined pressure and volume. The benefit of the MEA CAFAID is that agencies can maintain their traditional performance for established tactics, but deliver CAF as an enhancement to their capability without compromising their traditional tactics when required.

- DieselDiesel Powered Air Compressors The MEA range of diesel-powered air compressors is designed to provide the highest quality diesel-powered air compressors on the market. The MEA compressor systems have been engineered to be lightweight, compact, robust, and highly efficient. Designed specifically to withstand the harshest of Australian work conditions. MEA manufactures all systems using a rotary screw air compressor technology. Which provides 100% duty cycle and free air on demand. Vehicle-Mounted Equipment Experts MEA portable air compressors can be found in operation throughout many Australian fleet maintenance vehicles. Servicing the : Mining sector Civil construction Local councils Mobile mechanics. Providing operators with superior equipment and constant reliability. Offering users a substantial payload reduction and reducing overall equipment weight on the vehicle.
- ElectricElectric Air Compressors for service vans The MEA vehicle-mounted electric-powered air compressor is the most environmentally friendly system design on the market. This compact unit has been specifically designed to minimize the overall required space needed for the system’s installation. The MEA Battcom range is capable of producing a reliable 150psi and 11cfm maximum airflow output. The Battcom is ideally suited for light commercial tire fitting vans, fleet management vehicles, mobile mechanics, and utility service vehicles. The advantages of electric-powered compressors for Mobile van fleets The importance of mobility in-service maintenance fleet vehicles is emphasized. There is a growing trend around the world to enhance the service industry further by utilizing commercial vans rather than using traditional small to medium trucks. This shift has been becoming increasingly popular with the tire-fitting industry, small mobile mechanics, and service technicians. Silent and environmentally friendly in design Consider this system if you’re looking for a silent air compressor. One of the major advantages of the MEA–Battcom system is reduced noise associated with the electric compressor system. As there is no need for a fuel-driven engine to power the compressor pump, the system makes virtually no noise. This in turn requires the operator no…
- HydraulicThe MEA range of hydraulic air compressors can transform your vehicle’s existing hydraulic power into quality compressed air, making it perfect for running all your air supply needs. The MEA air compressor systems can deliver a reliable source of air supply and pressure on demand. These systems have been engineered to be lightweight, compact, robust, and highly efficient. Hydraulic compressors are ideally suited for many industrial applications:– Civil Construction Service Maintenance Vehicles Mining Industry Compatible with all air tools and air supply needs. Available in Frameless Models All MEA Smartpack-H systems are also available in frameless versions. This allows for the compressor to be mounted in the most functional of locations to suit body type. Typically integrated into the vehicle design during the development and planning phase of a service body design. TRHC can liaise with your preferred service bodybuilder to provide a collaborated design effort to maximize efficiency & overall functionality.
- Under BonnetVMAC Underhood Air Compressors The VMAC Air Compressors have allowed for innovative vehicle-mounted solutions to be delivered within Australia. TRHC Specialise in under bonnet, compressors allow for a hidden solution to any onsite or offsite compressor need. The lightweight and compact design of VMAC underhood air compressors can be successfully installed within the engine bay of the host vehicle. The power of an under-bonnet compressor is fully capable of running different types of machinery, including nail guns, welding systems, jackhammers, and tampers simultaneously. Advantages of Vehicle Integrated Off-Engine Air Compressors Utilizing the vehicle’s engine to run a belt-driven rotary screw has several clear advantages for many reasons. The vehicle-integrated system has the lowest power-to-weight ratio on the market, which substantially reduces the compressed air types of equipment payload on a vehicle. Although compact, these systems are capable of producing 40-70 cubic feet per/minute (CFM) @ 100-150 PSI air on demand. Another advantage is that it also requires no additional fuel to be carried to fuel the compressor or any additional receiver tanks. The compressor utilizes the vehicle as its primary drive source. Suitable for Most Makes and Models of Popular Australian Service Trucks TRHC can successfully incorporate the VR70 &…
- Underdeck PTO SystemsPTO (Power Take-Off) Driven Compressors The MEA design of Truck PTO Air Compressor systems offers many advantages you cannot get when using conventional above-deck air compressors. Using the vehicle transmissions connection to directly shaft drive a rotary screw air compressor or combination compressor/generator/hydraulic pump system, the system can fully integrate into the vehicle design. The system is completely underneath the service body of the truck, which saves vital above-deck space and reduces the compressed air equipment weight. Underdeck shaft-driven compressors are also capable of producing significantly high CFM range depending on the type of truck & dependant on the power ratio available from its transmission. A typical truck PTO Air Compressor system can produce 100-130 CFM between 100-150 Psi at 100% duty cycle (Air-On-Demand). However, these performance outcomes can be specified and calculated to meet the particular requirements needed from the vehicle. Collaboration: The Key to Any Successful Vehicle Integrated Compressed Air Equipment MEA understands the vital importance of collaboration between vehicle fleet developers, vehicle bodybuilders, and essential equipment manufacturers. This is even more important when designing fleet vehicles specifically tailored to the fundamental requirements of a business.

- Welder GeneratorsMobile welding equipment MEA product range includes vehicle-mounted welder generators suitable for powering your inverter welders on site. Access to portable welder generator systems makes light work of jobs requiring power even more advantageous when the generator is equipped with equipment such as a welder. Combining air compressors, welders, and generators into one multipurpose unit. These portable workstations make power and compressed air supply easily accessible. Advantages of multifunction equipment There are many advantages of utilizing multifunction equipment over the traditional methods are obvious. There is a substantial reduction in equipment payload on your vehicle and also the convenience of not needing additional separate equipment. Reducing the overall footprint of your equipment and optimizing space on your tray or tow-behind trailer. Another major advantage is the reduction in service requirements by using only one centralized piece of equipment as a primary supply source. Rather than having to perform multiple services, this can be reduced to a minimum.
